BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS of Beltane 2024

We had a beautiful Beltane retreat here in the Magic Space with our Musicians-in-Residence Facing The Ocean, and guests staying in the Yurts and Rose Chalet. A lovely mix of Trevellan regulars, and some local new folk too!

You can enjoy a recording of the acoustic gig-in-the-yurt, over in the brand new website shop - lovely tunes from Jane and Russ, with the fascinating stories and insights behind the tunes and landscapes that inspired them. Totally recommended!

As usual we enjoyed a great mix of fireside conviviality, creative activities, time to meander and soak up Trevellan's Magic, lunch over the fields at Potager, and a trip to one of the best secret Lizard beaches on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday.

This year we started with a gong bath sound journey in the yurt, and had our first art-day, improvising with charcaol and other colourful materials in response to the morphic resonance, shapes colours, rhythms and textures, of the flowers and trees on the Hilltop and down in the Woods.

Music-making with Jane and Russ was a delight - so awesome how a group of people can become in tune and play together so comfortably in just a short session with skillful facilities and a bunch of yummy instruments and percussion. We decorated the Elder tree to celebrate the May. And we wrote our own verses for a Trevellan version of the traditional Helston Flora Day song, and created our own dance with decorated Ash batons specially made by Russ.

Foraged foods, shared meals and plenty of time to refresh and renew.
